Dakota Johnson has booked a trip to the Spider-Verse, signing on to star in a Madame Web movie. THR reports that the actress in talks to star in the Sony Spider-Verse film, which will be directed by S.J Clarkson.

While many know Johnson best for her roles in the Fifty Shades of Grey films, she earned acclaim for her role as Susie Bannon in the Suspiria remake as well as the new Netflix film The Lost Daughter. Matt Sazama and Burk Sharpless wrote the script for the Madame Web film.

In the comics, the original Madame Web was Cassandra Webb, who was first introduced in 1980. Created by Dennis O’Neil, John Romita Jr., Cassandra was a woman from Salem, Oregon who was blind and had a neurological condition that gave her psychic abilities . She is portrayed as a paralyzed older woman in the books, eventually becoming involved with Spider-Man as well as the various Spider-Women. She was killed in 2010’s Amazing Spider-Man #637 and passed her powers onto Jessica Drew, the second Spider-Woman. It is not clear which character Johnson will be playing.

Sony has several projects coming up for their Spider-Verse including Morbius which arrives in April, a Kraven the Hunter film starring Aaron Taylor-Johnson, and more.
