The Man Without Fear will return for another season on Disney+. Speaking to IGN, Marvel Studios head of streaming, television, and animation Brad Winderbaum confirmed the third season renewal of Daredevil: Born Again, stating that the show has been greenlit for a third season, which is expected to start shooting later next year.

Winderbaum said of the news, “In terms of Daredevil, yeah, we are greenlit for Season 3 and we start shooting next year.” The renewal news comes well ahead of the second season’s debut, which is slated for May 2026. The Hollywood Reporter and Variety are also confirming that the Season 3 renewal is “official.”

The news comes after some recent online fears that the show was ending with Season 2. Series star Charlie Cox, who portrays Matt Murdock/Daredevil, recently made comments at a GalaxyCon panel in July that Season 2 would be the “final season.” However, that now appears to no longer be the case, or Cox might’ve misspoke, or his words were taken out of context. Series co-star Vincent D’Onofrio later clarified on social media that he believed there was a “good chance there will be a third [season].”

Daredevil: Born Again serves as a continuation of the acclaimed Marvel Netflix series, Daredevil, which ran for three seasons from 2015 to 2018. The first season saw Wilson Fisk returning to New York City and being elected mayor, violently consolidating his power. After experiencing a huge personal tragedy and retiring his vigilante alter-ego, Murdock eventually takes up his mantle of Daredevil once again to fight back against The Kingpin. The first season was well received by critics, scoring 87% on Rotten Tomatoes.

Born Again Season 2 will also feature another huge return from the Marvel Netflix era, with Krysten Ritter reprising her role as Jessica Jones. Ritter starred as the character for three seasons of her own hit show, and she also appeared opposite Cox in The Defenders miniseries, which also streamed on Netflix.

Daredevil: Born Again also stars Margarita Levieva, Deborah Ann Woll, Elden Henson, Wilson Bethel, Zabryna Guevara, Nikki M. James, Genneya Walton, Arty Froushan, Clark Johnson, Michael Gandolfini, Ayelet Zurer, and Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle/The Punisher. Dario Scardapane serves as lead writer and showrunner. The first season is available to stream now on Disney+. You can check out 411’s official review of the first season RIGHT HERE.
