Dave Bautista Is ‘Very Open’ To Joining the DC Universe

Dave Bautista says he’d be keen to reunite with James Gunn by joining the DC Universe. The WWE alumnus and actor starred as Drax in Gunn’s Guardians Of the Galaxy franchise in the MCU, and he spoke with ComicBook.com about the notion of potentially playing a role in Gunn’s DC films. You can see some highlights below:

On potentially teaming up with other Guardians co-stars: “I hope so, yeah. That’s kind of my goal. I really want, because I’ve done another project outside of Guardians with Karen Gillan, and I’ve done work with Pom [Klementieff in The Killer’s Game] now. I would like to work with Chris [Pratt] and Zoe [Saldana] outside of the Marvel Universe, as well.”

On a possible role in the DC Universe: “Yeah. Of course. As I’ve said, and I’ve been very open to that. I guess it just has to be the right part. But I’m very open to it, and I love James and I would do anything to work with him.”
