Emily VanCamp, Daniel Bruhl to Reprise Marvel Roles in Falcon and the Winter Soldier Series

Sharon Carter and Halmut Zemo will join Falcon and the Winter Soldier in their upcoming Disney+ series. Deadline reports that Emily VanCamp and Daniel Bruhl are in talks to reprise their roles from Captain America: Civil War in the upcoming series, joining Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan who play the titular heroes. VanCamp also played Sharon in Captain America: The Winter Soldier.

Kari Skogland will direct the six-episode series, which is expected to debut in 2020. Plot details have not yet been announced, though Deadline reprots that it will follow up on the events of Avengers: Endgame which saw a big change to Falcon’s status quo in the MCU.

Production could kick off later this year on the series.
