Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire Trailer Teases Kaiju Teamup Against a New Threat

Godzilla and King Kong are teaming up in the new film Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire, and the first trailer teases what’s in store for them. Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary released the trailer on Sunday, and you can check it out in full below.

The trailer sees the film picking up after the events of Godzilla Vs. Kong with Kong — now armed with a metallic gauntlet and his axe from the previous film — discovering a new threat from the Hollow Earth. He ends up teaming with a reawakened Godzilla, who has a new glow about him.

Godzilla x Kong is again directed by Adam Wingard from a script by Terry Rossio, Simon Barrett, and Jeremy Slater. It stars Rebecca Hall, Brian Tyree Henry, Dan Stevens, Kaylee Hottle, Alex Ferns, and Fala Chen and arrives on April 12th, 2024. It is described as follows:
