Jay Leno Hospitalized With Severe Burns Following Garage Incident
Jay Leno has been hospitalized following an incident involving a car in his Los Angeles garage. Deadline reports that the comedian, former Tonight Show host, one-time WCW main eventer and car enthusiast suffered severe burns to his face on Saturday after one of his cars “erupted into flames without warning.” Leno suffered burns to the left side of his face but the flames did not penetrate his eye or ear.
Leno was taken by hospital to the Grossman Burn Center in West Hills, California and he remains hospitalized there. Leno issued a statement to the site that read:
“I got some serious burns from a gasoline fire. I am O. Just need a week or two to get back on my feet.”
In addition, the Grossman Burn Center issued the following statement:

Leno is best known as the host of The Tonight Show from 1992 through 2009, though wrestling fans will particularly remember his involvement in WCW that included a match with DDP against Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff at WCW Road Wild 1998. He currently hosts Jay Leno’s Garage for CNBC which is between seasons and You Bet Your Life, which just finished filming its second season.
