Joan Collins Joins The Cast Of American Horror Story Season 8

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, American Horror Story co-creator Ryan Murphy said that he’s “throwing in Joan Collins” for the show’s eighth season. He added that he’s “interested” in Anjelica Huston for the season as well.

He also provided updates on his other shows. For example, a season of American Crime Story that was meant to focus on the Monica Lewinsky scandal has been cancelled. It was set to be based on the 2000 book by Jeffrey Toobin called A Vast Conspiracy: The Real Sex Scandal That Nearly Brought Down A President. He said that he told Lewinsky about it at a party.

He added: “I told her, ‘Nobody should tell your story but you, and it’s kind of gross if they do.’ If you want to produce it with me, I would love that; but you should be the producer and you should make all the goddamn money.’”

The team (Murphy, Nina Jacobson and Brad Simpson) is working on a new season, which will follow seasons about Versace and Hurricane Katrina. Katrina was supposed to be after The People vs. OJ Simpson but it wasn’t ready yet.

Finally, he said he’s not sure what the next season of Feud will be, although one announced season will focus on Prince Charles and Princess Diana. He added: “I’m still working on it. And I don’t want to do anything unless I’m 100 percent sure.”
