Disney’s Jungle Cruise star Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson took to his Instagram account today in order to announce that the upcoming film based on the iconic Disney theme park attraction will receive a day and date release in theaters and Disney+ with Premier access on Friday, July 30. You can view The Rock’s Instagram message below.

Previously, the film was scheduled for a July 24, 2020, but it was delayed to July 2021 due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. The film will maintain its previously announced July 30, 2021 release, but it will now have the Disney+ Premier Access availability. So, people will be able to watch it on their Disney+ apps for a one-time.

Typically Disney+ Premier Access entails a $30 fee to watch a newly-released film three months ahead of other subscribers. The live-action version of Mulan received a Premier Access release last year, as did Raya and the Last Dragon last March. Films released on Disney+ with Premier Access will still be made available on the service at no extra charge later on.

Disney’s Jungle Cruise directed by Jaume Collet-Serra; it also stars Emily Blunt, Jack Whitehall, Edgar Ramirez, Jesse Plemons and Paul Giamatti. Here’s a synopsis:

Inspired by the famous Disneyland theme park ride, Disney’s “Jungle Cruise” is an adventure-filled, rollicking thrill-ride down the Amazon with wisecracking skipper Frank Wolff and intrepid researcher Dr. Lily Houghton. Lily travels from London, England to the Amazon jungle and enlists Frank’s questionable services to guide her downriver on La Quila—his ramshackle-but-charming boat. Lily is determined to uncover an ancient tree with unparalleled healing abilities—possessing the power to change the future of medicine. Thrust on this epic quest together, the unlikely duo encounters innumerable dangers and supernatural forces, all lurking in the deceptive beauty of the lush rainforest. But as the secrets of the lost tree unfold, the stakes reach even higher for Lily and Frank and their fate—and mankind’s—hangs in the balance.
