Kung Fu Panda 4 Set To Release in March 2024

Po will be back in action in a couple of years, as Kung Fu Panda 4 is officially on the way. Universal Pictures and Dreamworks announced on Friday that a fourth film on the animated blockbuster franchise will arrive on March 8th, 2024.

As of yet, there’s no word on directors for the sequel, though it will continue to follow the adventures of Jack Black’s Po in ancient China.

The franchise as been quite the success for Dreamworks, grossing $1.82 billion worldwide over the first three films. The franchise kicked off in 2008 with the Oscar-nominated first film, with the sequels coming in May of 2011 and January of 2016. It has also branched out into several spinoffs including three animated series, with the most recent being March’s Kung Fu Panda: The Dragon Knight on Netflix.
