FX’s Legion has a new face for their Shadow King. Navid Negahban (Homeland) has been cast as the X-Men villain for season two of the show, as announced by the network at their TCA winter press tour event.

Negahban will play Ahmal Farouk, aka the Shadow King, the mysterious villain who attached himself to the psyche of lead mutant David Haller (Dan Stevens) last season before being cast out in the final episode. He is replacing Said Taghmaoui (Wonder Woman), who was set to play the role before having to drop out due to scheduling issues. Negahban is best known as playing Abu Nazir in the first two seasons of Homeland.

Season two of Legion kicks off in April on FX.
