Marvel Changes Up TV Schedule With Moves to X-Men ’97, Echo & More
Marvel has changed up some of its TV release dates including X-Men ’97, Echo, their Agatha Harkness series and more. THR reports that the company has shifted release dates for the aforementioned shows along with What If…? season two and Ironheart.
* What If…? now has a release date again, with a bow somewhere around Christmas Day. The show was originally set to release earlier this year.
* Echo was previously announced as releasing all at once on November 29th. However, it will now release (still all at once) in January of 2024.
* X-Men ’97, the follow-up to the classic 1990s X-Men: The Animated Series, is now set to premiere in early 2024 as opposed to later this year. A second season of the show is already in the works.
* Agatha: Coven of Chaos has been retitled to Agatha: Darkhold Diaries and will now release in early fall of 2024 in a lead-up to Halloween. This is the second time the show has been renamed; it was previously called Agatha: House of Harkness and was set to release this winter at some point.
* Ironheart was scheduled to release this fall, but is now off the schedule as completion was impacted by the WAG and SAG-AFTRA strikes. Daredevil: Born Again and Wonder Man are both paused in mid-production due to the strikes and do not have release windows.
Loki season two is still set to premiere on October 6th.
