Matt Smith Joins Star Wars: Episode IX Cast In A Key Role

According to Variety, Matt Smith has reportedly joined the cast of Star Wars: Episode IX in “a key role.” No other details on his role were provided.

The primary cast of (Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Lupita Nyong’o, Domhnall Gleeson, Kelly Marie Tran, Joonas Suotamo, and Billie Lourd. Billy Dee Williams will return to reprise his role as Lando Calrissian, while Anthony Daniels will return as C-3PO. New cast members include Naomi Ackie, Keri Russell, and Richard E.
