Michael Keaton To Reprise Batman Role in Batgirl Movie

Michael Keaton is donning the cowl another time after The Flash, as he’s signed to play Batman in the Batgirl movie. Deadline reports that Keaton has signed on to star in the upcoming film alongside Leslie Grace, J.K. Simmons and Brendan Fraser.

The film is being directed by Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah from a script by Christina Hodson. Plot details are under wraps beyond its obvious centering on the titular character, aka Barbara Gordon as played by Grace.

Keaton is reprising the role for the first time since the 1992 Batman Returns in The Flash, which hits theaters on November 4th, 2022.
