MJF Joins Cast of Netflix’s Happy Gilmore 2

Deadline reports that former AEW World Champion MJF is set for a role in the upcoming sequel Happy Gilmore 2. According to PWinsider reports that MJF will play ‘Gordie’ in the movie, one of Happy Gilmore’s sons. Happy’s sons are described as “tough crazy bastards with New England accents who have inherited their father’s love of hockey. They all live out on their own and work blue collar jobs.”

The sons will be portrayed at various ages in the film. Production is happening in New Jersey and lasts through the end of November. It’s unknown how long MJF will take part.

The film, which will stream on Netflix, also stars Julie Bowen, Christopher McDonald, Travis Kelce and Bad Bunny. It is being directed by Kyle Newacheck from a script by Sandler and Tim Herlihy.
