Rambo: Last Blood Given Hard R Rating By The MPAA
Given how violent the Rambo series has been, particularly the 2008 sequel, it’s probably not a huge surprise that Rambo: Last Blood has been given a hard R rating by the MPAA. In a post on Instagram, star Sylvester Stallone announced that the latest installment of the series was given the R rating.
He wrote: “Great day! We got our HARD R Rating today! What’s coming is going to be unlike anything you’ve ever seen…” …Death is coming” John said.”
The MPAA has yet to announce why they’ve given it an R rating, but you can probably guess given what this series is known for.
The film was directed by Adrian Grunberg from a script by Stallone and Matt Cirulnick. It also stars Sergio Peris-Mencheta, Yvette Monreal, Adriana Barraza, Paz Vega, Oscar Jaenada and Joaquin Cosio. It will arrive in theaters on September 20.
