Dwayne Johnson’s Red One Holiday Film Adds Cast Members J.K. Simmons And Bonnie Hunt

The film Red One, helmed by Dwayne Johnson as producer and the Jumanji franchise’s Jake Kasdan in the director’s chair, has commenced production, with J.K. Simmons and Bonnie Hunt on-board to portray Santa and Mrs. Claus, respectively. Other cast names include Chris Evans, Lucy Liu, Kiernan Shipka, Kristofer Hivju, Nick Kroll, Mary Elizabeth Ellis, and Wesley Kimmel. The project is planned to launch a franchise with broad appeal in all four quadrants and be available for streaming in over 240 countries for the 2023 holiday season.
