Ryan Reynolds Reveals Deadpool 3 Has Wrapped Filming
Deadpool 3 has finished filming, according to Ryan Reynolds. The actor posted to his Instagram account to announce that principle production has wrapped on the threequel, as you can see below.
Reynolds wrote:
“The suit hides blood. Also sweat… But today, with Deadpool wrapping, it’s mostly tears. A giant and forever thanks to the cast and crew of our film who battled wind, rain, strikes and @thehughjackman… all under the stalwart leadership of @slevydirect
I got to make a movie with my closest pals and that doesn’t happen very often. See ya July 26th…”
The film’s production was halted during the SAG-AFTRA strike with about 50% of filming done, but picked up as soon as the latter strike ended. It stars Reynolds as the titular character, Hugh Jackman as Wolverine, Rob Delaney as Peter, Monica Baccarin as Vanessa, Stefan Kapicic as Colossus, Brianna Hildebrand as Negasonic Teenage Warhead and Shioli Kutsuna as Yukio. Jennfer Garner is also reportedly reprising her role as Elektra in the film, which is set for release on July 26th.
