Sopranos Star Michael Imperioli Set for The White Lotus Season Two

Michael Imperioli is set to star in the second season of HBO’s The White Lotus, reports Deadline. Imperioli, best known for his role as Christopher Moltisanti in The Sopranos, will play Dominic Di Grasso, a man traveling with his elderly father and college-graduate son.

Season one of Mike White’s The White Lotus ended up being a surprise hit for HBO. The show was meant to only be one season, but its success led to HBO announcing a second season. So far, Imperioli is the only confirmed cast member. Mike White will once again write, direct, and serve as an executive producer. Season two is also expected to take place in a new location after season one was set in Hawaii.

Imperioli is also currently writing a potential series with Alec Berg for HBO. He’s attached to star in that project as well, which is based loosely on his experiences as a Buddhist.

Imperioli is also currently filming This Fool for Hulu.
