The SpongeBob Movie to Complete Trilogy in 2020

Paramount has set a release date for The SpongeBob Movie, the third film in the SpongeBob SquarePants movie trilogy. Deadline reports that the film is set to bow on July 17th, 2020.

Tim Hill will direct the film, which was written by Jonathan Aibel, Glenn Berger, and Michael Kvamme. Plot details have yet to be revealed for the third film. The first two have grossed a total of more than $465 million worldwide.
