The Book of Boba Fett

The Book of Boba Fett arrives later this month, and star Temuera Morrison says it will answer some questions about the title character’s backstory. Morrison spo0ke with SFX and said that the film will close some of those gaps in Boba Fett’s history.

“There will definitely be a number of answers,” the actor said (per CBR). “Some long-winded answers. Some short and sharp answers. Some colorful answers. We’re filling a lot of gaps.”

The series stars Morrison and Ming-Na Wen as Boba Fett and Fennec Shand and is set after the events of The Mandalorian season two. Wen said that the series will explore how the two characters bounce off each other, noting, “In The Book Of Boba Fett, there will be a lot of exploration of the dynamics between Boba Fett and Fennec Shand, how they complement each other, and what they get out of that relationship. He’s someone she respects and they have definitely bonded with him saving her. It allowed her to realize that she might be better off not being solo anymore. She sees her alliance with Boba Fett as a very smart move, in the sense that she’ll have somebody watching her back. And even though it might be [some] extra baggage to have to align herself with someone else, the reward for her at the moment is greater.”

The series premieres on Disney+ on December 29th.
