Tessa Thompson Says Christian Bale Will Play The Villain In Thor: Love & Thunder

Could a return to comic book movies be on the way for Christian Bale? If you believe Tessa Thompson, that might be the case. In an interview with Entertainment Tonight (via Joblo), Thompson, who plays Valkyrie in the MCU, said that Bale will play the villain in Thor: Love & Thunder.

She said: “Yeah, I’ve read the script. I can’t tell you much, but there’s been lots of exciting text messages exchanged between Natalie [Portman] and I. We’re going to have fun. Taika’s writing/directing. There’s some familiar faces, some new people in the mix. Christian Bale is going to play our villain, which is going to be fantastic.”

When asked if Valkyrie will be the new King of Asgard, she replied: “Hell yeah. Of course she will. If she can’t find her queen she’ll just be king and queen at the same time.“
