The long-delayed The Flash movie has officially begun production, and Michael Keaton is now confirmed to be returning as Batman. Warner Bros. Pictures announced on Monday that the film has begun production in London under the direction of Andy Muschietti. You can see a first look at the logo below.

In addition, The Wrap has confirmed that Keaton will reprise his role as Bruce Wayne/Batman in the film, which was widely reported but came into question after the actor suggested in an interview with Deadline that concerns about COVID-19 had him uncertain about doing any projects for the immediate future.

The film sees Ezra Miller return as Barry Allen/Flash alongside Keaton, Kiersey Clemons as Iris West, Maribel Verdú as Nora Allen, and Sasha Calle as Supergirl. Ron Livingston will play Henry Allen, replacing Billy Crudup from Justice League, and Ben Affleck is also set to play his own version of Batman. The film is set to release next year and will be based on the famous “Flashpoint” storyline from the comics.
