The Rock Confirms Black Adam is Coming To San Diego Comic-Con

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has officially confirmed that he and DC will be bringing Black Adam to San Diego Comic-Con for a panel. Johnson posted to his Instagram on Thursday to confirm that a panel will take place in Hall H on July 23rd. You can see the video below.

Johnson stars as the titular character in Black Adam, which is directed by Jaume Collet-Serra from a script by Adam Sztykiel, Rory Haines and Sohrab Noshirvani. The film also stars Pierce Brosnan as Doctor Fate, Noah Centineo as Atom Smasher, Aldis Hodge as Hawkman and Quintessa Swindell as Cyclone and opens on October 21st. It is described as follows:

“Nearly 5,000 years after he was bestowed with the almighty powers of the Egyptian gods — and imprisoned just as quickly — Black Adam is freed from his earthly tomb, ready to unleash his unique form of justice on the modern world.”
