Trailer Arrives For Star Wars Rebels Series Finale

Disney XD and Lucasfilm have released a new trailer for the series finale of Star Wars Rebels. It will air on March 5 at 8:30 PM on Disney XD. The episode is called “Family Reunion – And Farewell”. The series was created by executive producers Dave Filoni and Simon Kinberg, along with Carrie Beck. Henry Gilroy is also an executive producer. The voice cast includes Freddie Prinze Jr., Vanessa Marshall, Steve Blum, Tiya Sircar, Taylor Gray, Dee Bradley Baker, Forest Whitaker, David Oyelowo, Lars Mikkelsen and Warwick Davis. Ian McDiarmid will return to reprise his role of Emperor Palpatine.

Here’s a synopsis: In the final season, the Ghost crew joins the growing Rebel Alliance, struggling to unite against the Galactic Empire. However, when a new Imperial threat arises on Lothal, Ezra leads the crew back to his home world to defeat the oppressive forces of the Empire under the command of cunning Grand Admiral Thrawn. Old friends are reunited and new alliances are forced as the series builds to its epic conclusion.
