Venom 3 Moves Up Two Weeks, Gets Official Title

The third Venom film officially has a title and will release a bit sooner than planned. Sony revealed on Tuesday (per Deadline that the third film in the Spider-Man Universe series will be titled Venom: The Last Dance.

The film has also been moved up two weeks and will release on October 25th as opposed to November 8th. That will put it up against Universal & Blumhouse’s The Wolfman as well as Terrifier 3.

Kelly Marcel is directing the third film which will see Tom Hardy reprise his role as Eddie Brock/Venom. Juno Temple and Chiwetel Ejiofor are also starring in the film, which Marcel wrote from a story she and Tom Hardy came up with.

The Venom franchise has been a hit for Sony with $1.36 billion in total worldwide gross.
