Writers Officially Set For The Batman 2

The Batman 2 has reassembled the first film’s writing team, with Mattson Tomlin and Matt Reeves writing the script together. THR reports that Tomlin, who came in to fix some third-act issues on the first film’s script, is on board to co-write the sequel’s script with Reeves.

Reeves is also coming back to direct the film, which will bring Robert Pattinson back as Batman. The first film arrived on March 4th, grossing $369.3 million domestically and $770.8 million worldwide. The report notes that the sequel took a little while to get confirmed, due in part to the Warner Bros. Discovery merger.

Plot details on the new film are being kept under wraps, and the writing process is expected to begin in the coming weeks.
