Kanye West Is Finally A Billionaire According to Forbes

Kanye West has been pushing for Forbes to recognize him as a billionaire for awhile now, and the publication finally has. In a new story, Forbes says they now estimate Kanye’s net worth at $1.3 billion, thanks mostly to his Yeezy sneaker deal with Adidas.

Forbes says that West shared his financial records with them after “months of requests,” though in classic Kanye style, he isn’t happy with their valuation. West believes his net worth is over $3 billion. After Forbes revealed their $1.3 billion valuation, West texted them to say: “It’s $3.3 billion since no one at Forbes knows how to count.”

Aside from the Adidas sneaker deal, West’s assets include his G.O.O.D. record label and his high value homes.
