Edge & Lita are out here for the return of Edge’s talk show. Minimalistic set with a black cover on the mat and two stools. His guest tonight is Randy Orton. Edge says Orton impressed him when he won the title back in 2004 but Edge reminds him he lost his last three major matches against Undertaker, Rey Mysterio and Hulk Hogan. Orton threatens to drop Edge right here and now. Edge points out his career getting derailed tracks back to one moment when HHH turned on him after he won the title in Evolution. Edge blames HHH’s selfishness for Orton’s current situation. He reminds us that DX cost him the title last week in much the same way that HHH cost Orton back in 2004. Interesting that Edge is blaming Shawn Michaels for his loss. Edge talks about DX joking around and someone needs to make a stand. Edge called him out here to ask Orton to pair up in a bid to make a stand against DX and take over RAW. Edge asks Orton to make a decision. Either attack Edge for what he said or team up with Edge to take on DX. Crowd chants “RKO” suggesting they want him to turn babyface. But Orton shakes Edge’s hand and tells DX he has two words for them – “it’s over”. So we have a new alliance.
