AAA Reveals Date & Venue for Verano de Escándalo 2026

The date and venue for Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide’s next special event have been revealed.

On tonight’s episode of AAA, the Mexican promotion announced its next special, Verano de Escándalo, will take place on Saturday, July 25, 2026.

The event will emanate from Arena San Marcos in Mexico.

AAA is coming off a hugely successful Noche de Los Grandes event. The two-week event saw several title changes, as Rey Fenix captured the World Cruiserweight Title from Laredo Kid, El Hijo del Vikingo dethroned Dr. Wagner Jr. as Latin American Champion, and The War Raiders became the new AAA World Tag Team Champions.

The biggest talking point of the event was the iconic Mask vs. Mask match between the El Grande Americanos. The bout headlined Week One and lived up to its billing, as both wrestlers stole the show with their incredible performances. In the end, the OG lost the bout and revealed himself to be Chad Gable.
