Abyss Announced as 2018 Inductee to Impact Wrestling Hall of Fame
– Abyss is the newest member of the Impact Wrestling Hall of Fame. Impact announced the news during Thursday’s episode. The longtime Impact star will be inducted into the Hall next month during Bound For Glory weekend in New York City.
Abyss, real name Chris Park, has been with Impact for nearly all of the company’s run since its 2002 formation. During that time he’s had a run with the NWA World Heavyweight Championship, an X-Division Championship reign, two TV Championship runs and held the NWA World Tag Team Championship once alongside AJ Styles, as well as the TNA World Tag Team Championship twice (with James Storm and Crazzy Steve. He is a TNA Grand Slam Champion and also held the Tag Team Championships for TNA’s Ring Ka King promotion in India alongside Scott steiner.
