Abyss On The WWE-TNA Partnership: ‘I Can’t Tell You How Happy It Makes Me’

In an interview with Fightful, Abyss spoke about the recent TNA-WWE partnership, something that wasn’t possible during his time as an active wrestler. Abyss was with TNA for seventeen years before leaving and becoming a producer in WWE. He was recently included as DLC in WWE 2K25, meaning fans can put the Monster in a WWE ring for the first-time ever.
He said: “It’s incredible. I can’t tell you how happy it makes me. When I wrestled there, that was never an option. That was never on the table for the two companies to work together. For WWE to reach out and TNA to be receptive, and both companies come together with this collaboration, you’ve seen it with Joe Hendry and Trick Williams, just the collaboration together; the number one winner is the fans. It’s an incredible, monumental, ground-breaking moment for the two companies to collaborate and work together. The number one benefactor is the fans. It makes me incredibly happy to see it happen.“
