– Showbuzz Daily has the Wednesday television numbers for last night’s edition of AEW Dynamite. Numbers were down again across the board for the second week in a row.
Last night’s main event saw another title change as The Gunns defeated The Acclaimed to capture the AEW World Tag Team Titles. In the opening match, AEW World Champion MJF defeated Konosuke Takeshita in a title eliminator match. Also, The Elite defeated Top Flight and AR Fox in a Trios Match.
Last night’s show averaged 899,000 viewers. The viewership was slightly down from last week’s episode, which saw Dynamite draw 901,000 viewers.
Ratings were also down in the P18-49 key demo. Dynamite drew a 0.30 rating, down from last week’s 0.31 in the same key demo. Dynamite ranked fifth for Wednesday for cable originals, falling behind the NBA game coverage on ESPN and The Challenge: Ride or Dies on MTV. AEW Dynamite managed to just barely stay in the Top 5 shows of the cable rankings after ranking at No. 3 for the past two weeks.
