AEW Dynamite fell in the ratings and audience against the big NBA Finals game on Wednesday night. Wednesday’s show brought in a 0.08 rating in the 18 – 49 demographic and 542,000 viewers per F4W Online. As always, these numbers do not include HBO Max viewing.
Those numbers are down 27.3% and 15.1% respectively from the previous week’s 0.11 demo rating and 638,000 viewers for the two-hour Dynamite block. The demo rating was the lowest since the April 29th episode also had a 0.08, while the total audience was the lowest since January 21st episode had 498,000.
The show was bulldozed by the NBA Finals on ABC, which did a monster 5.98 demo rating and 20.3 million viewers. Dynamite was also against the NBA Finals last week, and that game did a 5.21 demo rating with 16.933 million viewers.
As a reminder, Nielsen made an adjustment to its Big Data + Panel numbers in late January, and even the original Big Data + Panel ratings make things difficult to compare to pre-change weeks. That said. AEW Dynamite is currently averaging a 0.110 demo rating and 631,000 viewers in 2026 compared to a 0.166 and 618,000 for the same time period in 2025.
