Jey Uso Victorious In King of the Ring Tournament Match On WWE Smackdown

Jey Uso is heading to the semifinals of the King of the Ring tournament, picking up a win on this week’s WWE Smackdown. Uso defeated Finn Balor, Royce Keys, and LA Knight in the main event of Friday’s show to advance to the next round in the tournament.

The finish of the 18 and a half minute match saw Solo Sikoa, who had come down to ringside earlier, accidentally distract Keys despite trying to help him which led to Knight hit a diving kick onto Keys. Keys was knocked into Sikoa and Knight came into the ring for a Burning Hammer onto Uso. He then hit an inverted DDT to Keys and an elbow drop. Keys blocked the Blunt Force Trauma and Sikoa hit Knight with a Samoan Spike. Keys hit Knight with a spinebuster and Uso came off the top with a splash to break up the pin. He then pinned Knight to win. You can see clips from the match below.

Uso will now face Je’Von Evans in the semifinals of the tournament. The other side of the brackets features Oba Femi vs. Dominik Mysterio. The finals take place at WWE Night of Champions on June 27th, with the winner earning a title match at SummerSlam.
