AEW Dynamite Draws Slight Uptick in Viewership, Ratings Steady for Maximum Carnage Special

Wrestlenomics has the ratings and viewership numbers for this week’s edition of AEW Dynamite. This week’s show was a special Maximum Carnage episode.
This week’s Maximum Carnage episode averaged 526,000 viewers. Viewership saw a slight increase from the first episode of Dynamite of 2026, which averaged 516,000 viewers. For comparison, the New Year’s Smash show averaged 398,000 viewers.
In the P18-49 key ratings demo, numbers held steady, with the Maximum Carnage show drawing a 0.08 rating in the key demo, which is consistent with last week’s show. Additionally, the December 31 New Year’s Smash show drew a 0.07 rating in the key demo. The live TBS broadcast was also simulcast on HBO Max.
In the main event of the AEW Dynamite: Maximum Carnage show, AEW World Champion Maxwell Jacob Friedman (MJF) successfully defended the title against reigning ROH World Champion Bandido. Bandido won the Dynamite Diamond Ring at the Dynamite on 34th Street special to earn the title shot.
