Backstage News on Why WWE Didn’t Mention Shad Gaspard During Raw

– As noted, former WWE Superstar Shad Gaspard went missing on Sunday (May 19) after he was caught in a riptide while swimming at the beach in Malibu, California. It was later stated by wrestling writer Jon Blayne on Twitter that the Los Angeles police called off the search for Gaspard yesterday, who is still missing at this time. WWE did not mention Gaspard during last night’s Raw, which was discussed on today’s Wrestling Observer Radio.

According to Bryan Alvarez on today’s show, he was told that there was no graphic or mention of Shad Gaspard on last night’s Raw because Gaspard has not been officially announced as having passed away as of yet.
