This past week on AEW Dynamite, reigning AEW World Champion MJF went one-on-one with Brody King in an Eliminator bout. However, before the match got underway, the crowd erupted with “F**k ICE” chants, attracting attention from the media.

Fightful Select is now reporting that the company is “very happy” with the attention it garnered from the media.

Additionally, the website cited AEW sources that claimed that the promotion was “very positive” about the overwhelming pro wrestling presence at the Super Bowl media row.

The report further states that all members of the independent group, Lights Camera Faction, i.e., Kenny King, Ice Williams, FRESCO, Watson, and “The Action” Jeaux Braxton, were present at AEW tapings this week, with some of them working matches.

Also, the company is reportedly interested in bringing on board The IInspiration (Cassie Lee and Jessica McKay). The duo became free agents after dropping the TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Championship to The Elegance Brand on iMPACT’S AMC premiere last month. This comes in the wake of Dave Meltzer recently downplaying the suggestions that Lee and McKay are AEW-bound, claiming that they “don’t feel like a good fit for the brand.”
