PWInsider has an update on wrestlers who were reportedly injured or hurting come out of last Sunday’s AEW Double or Nothing event. Adam Copeland was victorious during the show in a Barb Wire Steel Cage Match, defending his TNT Title against Malakai Black.

There was said to be a rumor going around backstage last night during WWE Raw that Copeland suffered a broken leg during the cage match when he came off the top of the steel cage. While this was a rumor backstage, it’s unconfirmed if that’s actually what Copeland suffered during the match. Within AEW, there was reported concern that the TNT Champion suffered some sort of knee injury. However, the nature of his injury is still unknown.

Additionally, while there was concern for Black after the cage match due to the apparent amount of blood he lost, he was said to have been okay after the bout, but he was banged up and exhausted.

– Jack Perry was reportedly fine after the fire spot in the Anarchy in the Arena match. Perry had previously done a similar stunt before, and the company reportedly took every precaution to make sure the fire spot was done correctly and safely. The spot where Perry was knocked out crashing the bus was to get Perry off-camera to be covered in gel for the fire stunt.

Meanwhile, one of Perry’s opponents, Darby Allin, was reportedly taken to the hospital after the match in order to be checked out. Allin suffered a number of cuts on his face from the Superkicks with the thumbtacks. Allin was released after being checked out at the medical facility.

– Lastly, Will Ospreay is said to be fine after the bump he took early in his match against Roderick Strong. Ospreay defeated Strong to capture the International Championship at AEW Double or Nothing. Additionally, PWInsider reports that Matt Taen is also okay after that bump as well.
