Backstage Rumor on Plans for Tonight’s WWE Royal Rumble

– Fightful Select has another interesting report tonight’s WWE Royal Rumble 2024 event, that could lead to some interesting surprises for the Rumble matchups. According to the report, WWE has reached out to “outside companies” about utilizing their talent for tonight’s show.

Fightful noted that more details on this will be released later. Two years ago, Mickie James entered the women’s Royal Rumble match, representing Impact Wrestling and even being introduced as the Impact Knockouts Champion. So, it’s not necessarily an unprecedented move, but it looks like WWE is finally expanding on that idea.

WWE Royal Rumble is scheduled for later tonight at the Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Florida. It will be broadcast live on Peacock starting at 8:00 pm EST for the main card. The Kickoff show starts at 7:00 pm EST.
