Backstage Rumor on WWE’s Plans for Bron Breakker
– According to a report by PWInsider Elite (via WrestlingInc.com), there’s an update WWE’s future plans for Bron Breakker. Earlier this week on WWE NXT TV, Bron Breakker and Baron Corbin beat The Family to capture the NXT Tag Team Titles.
PWInsider reprots that Breakker is still scheduled to be in attendance at tomorrow’s edition of WWE SmackDown in Salt Lake City, Utah. Tomorrow’s episode will air live, while next week’s episode will be taped after the show, since the roster will be flying out to Australia the following week for WWE Elimination Chamber: Perth. The episode will air on FOX on February 23 via tape delay.
PWInsider Elite notes that if WWE changed its plans regarding a potential move to the main roster for Bron Breakker due to his recent NXT tag team title victory, fans will be able to recognize as such “immediately.” There were reportedly rumors of Breakker moving up to the main roster following his recent appearance at the WWE Royal Rumble in the men’s Rumble match.
As noted, former NXT Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton recently joined the SmackDown roster, Meanwhile, NXT Champion Carmelo Hayes looks to be staying as part of the NXT roster at the moment despite some recent main roster appearances.
