Bayley and Tatum Paxley tease a future in-ring showdown.
This past weekend, WWE hosted its annual Backlash Premium Live Event from Tampa, Florida. As promised ahead of the PLE, John Cena came out to share what he’d termed as “history-making” news.
The 17-time World Champion announced the “John Cena Classic,” which would pit main roster superstars against NXT talents, with fan votes deciding the winner of the new championship.
On X, Bayley responded to a post about a potential match between her and current NXT Women’s North American Champion Tatum Paxley. The Role Model tagged Paxley and asked her if she was ready to face her at the event.
Paxley responded in the affirmative.
