Bishop Dyer teamed with with Lacey Evans to take on Becky Lynch & Seth Rollins in a mixed tag match in 2019, and he said he considers the bout “super underrated.” The match took place at WWE Extreme Rules that year and Dyer — then Baron Corbin — reflected on the match during an appearance on Fightful’s In the Weeds with Jeremy Lambert and SP3.
“That was super underrated,” Dyer said. “I thought that match was awesome. They did the big table spot. People are like, ‘Well, it wasn’t a big crowd.’ It was supposed to be a live event and they switched it to a pay-per-view. It’s not a PLE crowd. I loved that match.”
The match had both the Universal Championship and Raw Women’s Championship on the line. Dyer took Lynch out late in the match with an End of Days, which led to an enraged Rollins laying into Dyer with a chair, a kendo stick and multiple Stomps to secure the win.
