In a statement posted on his Instagram account, former WWE NXT and AEW wrestler Bobby Fish revealed that he recently suffered an injury, as he pulled a hamstring working an event, and he’s currently dealing with some personal issues, including not having health insurance. The video and comments Fish shared are available below.

Bobby Fish wrote in the caption of his video regarding his injury and personal issues, “Not gonna sugarcoat it — life’s been rough lately. Got injured at a show, pulled hamstring, no health insurance, going through some personal stuff.”

He continued, “But I’m not here looking for a handout. I’m starting a YouTube channel because I still love this business, and I want to keep giving you something real. Stories, training, laughs, whatever I can bring.”

Fish also encouraged fans to subscribe to his upcoming YouTube channel. He added, “If you’ve ever supported me — cheered, booed, whatever — hit that subscribe and come along for the ride. Let’s see what we can build together.”

Bobby Fish Has Been Out of Action Since July

Bobby Fish last wrestled in July at the ALW Star Spangled Slammer 9 show, facing Shelton Benjamin and KENTA in a Triple Threat Match, which Benjamin won. Fish previously wrestled for WWE under the NXT banner after signing with the promotion in 2017, winning the NXT Tag Team Titles with The Undisputed Era on two separate occasions. He was released by WWE in 2021.

Later that year, Bobby Fish would join rival promotion AEW, reforming The Undisputed Era in the promotion as part of The Elite. Fish later exited from AEW in 2022 after his contract expired the following year and was not renewed.
