Booker T Praises Royce Keys Following WWE Debut At Royal Rumble

On the latest episode of the Hall of Fame podcast, Booker T talked about the WWE arrival of Royce Keys, aka Powerhouse Hobbs, after he made his debut in the Royal Rumble match with his new name. Hobbs had left AEW last month to join WWE.

Keys reportedly got a very good reaction backstage after the match. He is expected to be a member of the Smackdown brand. You can check out some highlights below:

On Keys’ WWE Debut:
“Oh man, Will Hobbs, aka Royce Keys now. Yeah, he made the right choice. Making that walk in the Rumble, that right there is just the beginning for Royce. He’s getting ready to do some big things in the WWE. I can’t wait.”

On WWE Trusting Him:
“For them, being WWE, to trust Royce Keys his first night to come out at the Rumble and not NXT? [It] tells me a whole lot for them. To flash his name, ‘Will Hobbs,’ that told me a whole lot about what they think about where they’re getting ready to take Royce Keys. I can’t wait to see exactly, you know, what this thing ends up.”
