Booking WWE Monday Night Raw 11.07.16
* From Glasgow, Scotland, this will be “Monday Night Raw.”
* To begin the show, Charlotte Flair enters the ring, flanked as ever by Dana Brooke. Flair announces that she has just concluded a meeting with Raw General Manager Mick Foley in which they finalized Raw’s Survivor Series Women’s team. While Bayley and Nia Jax are already confirmed for her squad, and make their entrances, Flair reveals that Brooke has also been awarded a spot, as well as–and, she says, this should make everyone very happy–making her re-debut at Survivor Series…Emmalina! It doesn’t take long for Sasha Banks to interrupt the proceedings, questioning Flair’s decision. Flair says that she decided not to include Banks, a loser who is also injured…at Flair’s own hands. She tells Banks not to worry about Team Raw’s chances: between the Raw Women’s Champion and a monster like Jax, they’ll be fine. Banks invites Flair to prove that statement, challenging her and Jax to a tag team match. Flair agrees, but on the condition that Banks chooses a partner who is not on Team Raw, as a good leader doesn’t risk her team members getting injured alongside a lame like Banks.

* Sasha Banks & Alicia Fox pin Charlotte & Nia Jax after Dana Brooke’s attempt to distract Banks backfires. Following the match, an incensed Jax pummels Brooke. Charlotte attempts to pull her off of her sidekick, but to no avail. Bayley also tries to step in, but Jax brushes her aside easily. Jax prepares a big splash on Brooke…when Banks swoops in and clotheslines Jax, allowing Brooke and the rest of the women to escape the mighty woman’s wrath.
* Backstage, Mick Foley and Neville are engaged in a conversation in Foley’s office when Rusev storms in. He is not happy about having been cheap-shotted by Goldberg last week, and says to redeem himself, he accepts Dolph Ziggler’s open challenge for the Intercontinental Championship at Survivor Series. Foley thinks this is great; unfortunately, Neville was just granted that match. Perhaps if Rusev had gotten there a minute earlier… Rusev claims he would have arrived a minute earlier, but Goldberg injured him last week, and he has been walking slowly all week. Lana agrees, noting that Rusev has done everything worse in the last week. Rusev proclaims himself a more worthy challenger than Neville. An amused Neville says he wouldn’t mind putting his opportunity on the line in a match tonight if it will cease Rusev’s whining.

* Rusev defeats Neville by submission to earn the Intercontinental Championship match against Dolph Ziggler at Survivor Series.

* Backstage, Braun Strowman says it’s appropriate that Neville and Sami Zayn are friends, as they are both willing to accept challenges they can’t possibly overcome. Neville just squandered his Intercontinental Championship opportunity, and later tonight, Zayn will squander his entire career taking on Strowman.
* New Day arrive on the stage, eschewing their usual wardrobe for tuxedo t-shirts, while Kofi Kingston carries a silver platter piled with unicorn horns. They announce that because of their hugely successful reign as Raw Tag Team Champions, Commissioner Stephanie McMahon and GM Foley have allowed them to select the members of Team Raw partaking in the 10-Team Elimination match at Survivor Series. As such, they call out to the stage the teams eligible for their squad, including Enzo & Cass, Cesaro & Sheamus, the Shining Stars, the Golden Truth, and Anderson & Gallows. Big E points out that there are five teams on the stage, but only four spots left on Team Raw. Xavier Woods notes the obvious comparison between them voting off one team for a match at an event called Survivor Series and the long-running reality television show…that’s right, “The Bachelor.” And so, without further ado, they hand out unicorn horns to the teams they select, beginning with Enzo & Cass, Anderson & Gallows, and the Golden Truth. Finally, there is only one horn left, but two teams waiting. And the last horn is awarded to…the Shining Stars. While the Stars are a bit too excited to receive the horns, Cesaro & Sheamus are beside themselves. The New Day explain, however, that Cesaro & Sheamus are barely a team. The Golden Truth are best friends. The Shining Stars are longtime partners. Enzo & Cass are like brothers. Anderson & Gallows are actual twins, in the way that Arnold Schwarzenegger and Danny DeVito are twins. Sheamus still isn’t pleased with this answer, and insists on a match against New Day: if they can defeat the champions, they’re on Team Raw, and one of these scrub teams has to get the bad news. New Day note that the Shining Stars’ excitement over their unicorn horns is a little off-putting, so they agree to the match.

* New Day pin Cesaro & Sheamus.
* In his office, Foley lets Flair know that, while Banks will not be a member of Team Raw, she will be its coach. After all, Banks was the only woman able to establish any control over the team earlier. A smug Banks appears behind Flair, letting her know that normally she can call her the Boss, but now she can call her Coach. Flair is disgusted.

* During an interview backstage, Cruiserweight Champion Brian Kendrick says that while he respects that both TJ Perkins and Rich Swann can stake a claim to number one contendership for his title, it’s up to them to settle who will face him. He looks forward to sitting back and watching them rip each other apart, after which he will gladly face the survivor.
* In the ring, Foley announces that Seth Rollins has been awarded the final spot on Team Raw’s men’s squad. After all, if SmackDown’s team boasts one former member of The Shield, how can Raw be beaten if it has two in Rollins and Reigns? This, of course, does not please Universal Champion Kevin Owens, nor his best friend, Chris Jericho. Owens reminds Foley that The Shield dissolved because Rollins turned his back on his teammates–is that what Foley wants to happen to Team Raw? Meanwhile, Jericho reveals that he has just started a new list: a list of teams better than Jeri-KO. And it’s a blank piece of paper, because no one in history is more dominant than Owens and Jericho. Finally, Owens tells Foley that perhaps Rollins and Reigns used to be brothers, but Owens and Jericho are brothers now, and with that kind of solidarity, they don’t need two-thirds of The Shield. Foley says he would hate for this sort of difference of opinion to affect Team Raw. Owens and Jericho seem appeased–until Foley reveals that, in order to resolve said difference, Rollins & Reigns will face Jeri-KO in tonight’s main event, to see where the most solidarity lies. Now, Owens and Jericho are far from appeased.

* Roman Reigns finds Seth Rollins at his locker, noting that their history isn’t very far behind them. Reigns can still feel the chair shot Rollins delivered across his back when he joined The Authority. Rollins agrees that they have unfinished business, and they will settle it one day, but now is not the time. There is no denying how dominant The Shield was–well, except that Jeri-KO were just out in the ring denying it. Tonight, Rollins says, it will be his and Reigns’s job to make Owens and Jericho eat those words. Believe that.
* A debuting Jack Gallagher pins Sin Cara.

* In Mick Foley’s office, Cesaro tells the GM that he and Sheamus have rarely been successful as a team, and tonight they were humiliated by New Day. Foley’s experiment was a failure. For once, Sheamus adds, he and Cesaro agree on something. They need to settle their personal differences before they can move on. Foley sees how desperate the two proud men are, and finally approves them to compete, one final time, at Survivor Series in a No Disqualification match.
* Backstage, Anderson & Gallows find Enzo & Cass and tell them they were rooting for Cesaro & Sheamus to defeat New Day so that Enzo & Cass would be booted from Team Raw. Enzo says this sounds like a challenge, and Cass says if it’s a booting Anderson & Gallows want to see, he has his Andy boots on for both of them tonight. Anderson & Gallows say they’ll see Enzo & Cass in the ring.

Anderson & Gallows cheat to pin Enzo & Cass.
* At Braun Strowman’s locker, Jeri-KO note how impressed they were with his victory over Sami Zayn. They want to make sure that he knows, no matter how much praise Foley heaps on Rollins and Reigns, they’re the ones giving the orders. Without a word, Strowman makes it clear that he does not respond well to orders. “What would those orders be?” he finally says. Thoroughly intimidated, Jericho “orders” Strowman to stay very large, and then he and Owens leave.

* In a match to declare the number one contender to the Cruiserweight Championship, TJ Perkins and Rich Swann fight to a double count-out draw. From his perch at the announcers’ table, Brian Kendrick does his best to feign disappointment at not having a challenger.

* Backstage, Foley lets Kendrick know that his upcoming championship defense will take place in a Triple Threat match including both TJ Perkins and Rich Swann. Kendrick insists that this isn’t fair as Foley walks away.
* In the night’s main event, Seth Rollins & Roman Reigns pin Jeri-KO. After the match, Owens attacks Rollins with his championship. He and Reigns then battle up to the announcers’ table before Jericho recovers from taking the pin and chop blocks Reigns’s knee. Finally, reminiscent of The Shield’s tactics, Jericho helps lift Reigns onto Owens’s shoulders, allowing KO to powerbomb Reigns through the table.
* It all leads to the following matches taking place at Survivor Series on 20 November:
Booking WWE Monday Night Raw
* TJ Perkins vs. Rich Swann vs. Brian Kendrick for the Cruiserweight Championship
* Dolph Ziggler vs. Rusev for the Intercontinental Championship
* Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, Kevin Owens, Chris Jericho & Braun Strowman vs. Dean Ambrose, AJ Styles, Randy Orton, Bray Wyatt & Baron Corbin
