Latest Update on Britt Baker’s Future with AEW

Britt Baker’s AEW future remains uncertain after the star removed all AEW mentions from her social media handles.

Dynamite had its Fifth Anniversary Show on October 2, 2024, at the Peterson Events Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Although many expected Britt Baker to appear, given that Pittsburgh is her hometown, the fans were ultimately disappointed. The Wrestling Observer’s Newsletter has noted that Britt Baker has removed all mentions of AEW from her social media. When she was not at the Pittsburgh show, Meltzer took it to mean she would not be used in AEW again. The Tony Khan-led promotion reportedly had thought Baker would be heading to WWE.

Meltzer speculated that if she does go to WWE, she’d likely get a huge pop at first, but may run into issues long-term due to style differences between AEW and WWE.

The DMD’s last All Elite Wrestling appearance came at the November 13, 2024 episode of Dynamite, during which she said “nobody cares” towards Serena Deeb and the camera. She hasn’t been on AEW TV since.

There is still no hint, let alone confirmation, of whether Britt Baker would go to WWE or continue wrestling altogether. Apart from being a wrestler, she is a real-life dentist at a private practice in Winter Park, Florida. Fans are awaiting an update from her.
