Brock Lesnar Reportedly Planned for WWE SummerSlam 2026 in Minneapolis

With WWE SummerSlam 2026 scheduled for August in Minneapolis, Minnesota, it raises the question if former WWE Champion and Minnesota native, Brock Lesnar, will be a major part of the event. According to an update from the latest Fightful Select Answers Q&A, that appears to be the case.

The report notes that the belief within WWE is that Lesnar is going to be working for the show. Also, it’s noted that Lesnar was already planned for the show at the start of the year.

Brock Lesnar previously made his WWE TV return last year at SummerSlam 2025 after a two-year hiatus. He attacked John Cena following the main event, setting up their eventual match at WWE Wrestlepaloozaa 2025 the following month.

Lesnar also recently competed in the men’s Royal Rumble match over the weekend. However, the 48-year-old wrestler was ultimately eliminated by Cody Rhodes and LA Knight.
