Bryan Danielson Says His Daughter Was Scared Of Swerve Strickland After AEW All In

Bryan Danielson says that his match at AEW All In left his daughter afraid of Swerve Strickland. Danielson defeated Strickland to win the AEW World Champion with his family in the front row, and Danielson spoke on The Nikki & Brie Show about how his daughter Birdie was afraid of Strickland after the match.
“How scared was Birdie of Swerve after the match?” Danielson recalled (via Wrestling Inc). “Swerve is such a nice man, and so he was down the stairs…and her eyes when she saw him was like ‘I don’t want to go and say hi to him,’ but we kind of forced her and then she was like ‘oh, he’s nice.'”
Brie Garcia also noted in the episode that Nigel McGuinness introduced his daughter to Danielson before their match at AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam to show they were friends.
Danielson will defend his AEW World Championship against Jon Moxley at AEW WrestleDream.
