Cedric Alexander Picks Up Win Over Moose In TNA Impact Opening Match

Cedric Alexander scored a major win on this week’s episode of TNA Impact, defeating Moose in the opening match. Thursday night’s show opened with Alexander facing Moose in one-on-one action. The two had previously been part of the three-way match at TNA Genesis alongside Joe Hendry, with Hendry getting the win.

The match sold the notion that Moose was fighting through pain due to the, in his words, “serious injury” that the System member suffered at Genesis. The bout went back and forth, with Moose getting several near falls but Alexander kicking out.

The finish of the match saw Alexander counter a spear with a sunset flip. Moose went for a powerbomb, but Alexander rolled through it for a roll-up pinfall victory.
