Moose Confirms He Suffered Injury At TNA Genesis, ‘Should Be Good’ For Impact

Moose has confirmed that he suffered an injury at TNA Genesis and says it was “serious,” but says that he should be good for this week’s TNA Impact. The former TNA World Champion competed in a three-way match at Saturday’s event, battling Joe Hendry and Cedric Alexander. Hendry came away with the win in the match.
Moose posted to his Twitter account on Tuesday. He confirmed the injury and gave an update on how he’s feeling, writing:
“For those who watched TNA Genesis I did suffer a serious injury. From the bottom of my heart I want to sincerely thank everyone for all their concern and get well soon wishes. My back is super stiff still at the moment but I should be ok for @ThisIsTNA AMC live in Albuquerque”
The match saw Hendry deliver a backdrop to Moose directly onto the steel steps. It’s not clear if that is where the injury happened. The System member has had a number of back injuries in his career, including one at TNA Slammiversary 2025 when he took a dive from the apron to the floor against Leon Slater. and “bounced” off the ringside mat. He continued that match and worked through the injury.
On behalf of 411, our best wishes to Moose for a quick and full recovery.
